Billion Electric Co. Ltd., Taiex: #3027, was established in Taiwan in 1973. We began our leading business by designing, producing, and distributing power transformers, power supplies, and other power related products. Now the company has grown and become one of the leading providers of power supplies, energy management solutions, and networking equipment in the Asian Pacific Rim.

In 1992, Billion had established its Communication Division and committed to investing in the development of the next-generation networking equipment hardware and Internet access devices for carriers, Internet service provider, enterprise and industrial sectors.

In 2000, Billion bolstered its financial strength and went public listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TAIEX). Today, we are serving to various international clients across Europe, North/South America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific markets.

In March 2009, the power supply business was expanded to the linear power supply, switching power supply and power transformers with in-house R & D and manufacturing. With the combination of communication and power technology backgrounds, we developed a series of innovative IoT (Internet of Things) solutions to support the energy analysis, lighting control, solar power monitoring, and intelligent power grid applications.

In January 2010, we officially announced the Power & Energy Management Division (PEM Division), which is dedicated to the innovation of eco-friendly, green technologies.

In January 2017, Billion launched two official subsidiaries: "Billion Watts Technologies" and "Billion Sun Power". Billion Watts Technologies is committed to the R&D, Sales, Marketing, Technical Installation and Support for string and module level solar power generation monitoring system. Billion Watts is also the authorized distributor of SolarEdge, the inventer and the leading provider of DC optimized inverter solution; whereas Billion Sun Power is dedicated to the construction and operation of domestic and overseas solar energy plants.
